Using aetolo

aetolo is a free index of student projects in art, design and architecture, found by what they are about. These terms apply when you use aetolo.com and when you make an account. Last changed 26 October 2026.

Who runs aetolo

aetolo is run by Gamdo, represented by Kyuseung Kyoung, business registration 161-64-00684, 2F, Rooms 210–211, 188 Chuncheon-ro, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon State, Republic of Korea. Write to aetolo@aetolo.com.

The projects belong to their makers

Every project on aetolo lives on another site: a school, a degree show or an award. aetolo shows a link preview of it, as a search engine does: its title, a short excerpt (at most 180 characters), the picture that page offers for previews, loaded from that site and never copied, and a link to the page.
The projects, their pictures and their texts belong to the students and schools who made and published them. aetolo claims no rights in them and does not license them to anyone.
The categories and percentages are aetolo’s own reading of a project’s text, made by a computer model. They are not statements by the student or the school, and they can be wrong.
If a project is yours and you want it removed, shown without its picture or corrected, see Rights & removal. Sites can also opt out themselves.

Using the site

You may browse, search, like, save and share links to aetolo freely.
Please do not copy aetolo’s index or pictures in bulk, run automated tools against it beyond what its robots.txt allows, try to get around sign-in or limits, or use it to present someone else’s work as your own.
To use a project, go to its original page and follow what its maker and school allow.

Accounts

You sign in with Google. You must be 16 or older to have an account. One account per person.
An account keeps your likes, your saved projects and, if you choose, your interests. A saved list you share by link can be seen by anyone who has the link; it shows only the projects, not who you are.
Use Stay signed in only on your own device. You can download your data and delete your account at any time from the account menu (Your data); deleting it removes your likes, saved list and interests at once.
We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the site, for example to inflate likes or to copy the index, after telling you why where we can.

Advertising and sponsors

aetolo may show advertising: on the board, one card marked Sponsored among the projects, and on pages with aetolo’s own content (such as Aetologic).
A sponsored card stands on its own. It is about none of the projects, is never placed inside a project’s card, its close-up or Aeti, and says nothing about any student or school. Advertisers have no say in which projects aetolo shows or how.
aetolo does not sell your personal data. The privacy page says who provides the ads and what they receive.

How the site is offered

aetolo is free and offered as it is. Original pages are run by others: they can change, move or disappear, and we cannot promise every link, picture or excerpt is current.
We may change, add or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using aetolo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of the Republic of Korea, such as for intent or gross negligence.

Changes, law and disputes

We will post changes to these terms on this page at least 7 days before they apply, or 30 days before for changes that limit your rights. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea, and disputes go to the competent court under Korea’s Civil Procedure Act. If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you rights these terms cannot take away, you keep them.
